Music and Movement

Music and Movement classes are held twice a week for most classes. Children sing, dance, play games, learn rhythm, and play age-appropriate instruments. Children are taught Bible based songs along with preschool favorites. We present two programs each year: Christmas and a spring program, when the children get to share their love of music and movement with family and friends. Those programs are free.

On some days, the Music and Movement teacher will focus mainly on physical education skills geared toward the specific needs of each age level. In Physical Education, children work on specific skills, such as balance, throwing, jumping, and running. They also learn cooperative games.
